According to the latest update, this is the first time that Jamia Millia Islamia has formally incorporated courses offered through the Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) platform into its curriculum. Alongside this reform, the university has also successfully completed its end-semester examinations and admission tests for more than 280 academic programmes within a compressed timeline, reflecting improvements in academic administration and examination management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) is an online learning platform launched by the Government of India to provide free, high-quality educational courses to learners across the country. The platform offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, vocational and professional courses developed by leading educational institutions. By integrating SWAYAM Courses into its academic structure, Jamia Millia Islamia aims to provide students with additional learning resources, promote interdisciplinary education and encourage greater flexibility in pursuing academic interests.       Nearly 20,000 students appeared for the end-semester examinations conducted between 2nd May and 25th May 2026, demonstrating the university’s ability to efficiently manage large-scale academic operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The Office of the Controller of Examinations declared nearly 800 examination results within the prescribed timeline after implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for faculty members and students. These procedures streamlined answer-script submission, evaluation and result processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Timely declaration of results enables students to pursue higher education opportunities, competitive examinations and employment without unnecessary delays. Efficient examination management also strengthens institutional credibility and enhances the overall student experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
