Mrs. Touqeer Fathima, Academic Director of Enaraa High School, shared her views on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in education during an interaction at the South India Educators\u2019 Summit & Dynamic School Awards 2026<\/a>. Reflecting on receiving the EducationNewsNetwork <\/a>Award, she expressed gratitude to her family and team, acknowledging that recognition is a collective achievement built on shared effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also appreciated the summit as an opportunity for educators to exchange ideas, learn from their peers and take valuable insights back to their institutions. Her key message, however, centred on the need for education leaders to move beyond hesitation and recognise the growing scope of AI in education. She called for thoughtful integration of the technology into teaching and learning, enabling students to develop the skills needed to navigate an increasingly AI-driven world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is time to come out of the denial mode of recognising the scope and expanse of AI.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her statement highlights the importance of proactive educational leadership. Rather than treating AI as a passing trend, schools must explore meaningful ways to help students understand, use, and master emerging technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
