Parents at the Core
What truly sets our survey apart is the inclusive role of parents in the evaluation process. We encourage schools to actively involve parents by inviting them to rate the institutions based on our specific parameters. This input is invaluable because parents often have the most intimate knowledge of a school’s strengths and challenges. By giving significant weight to their opinions, we ensure credibility and authenticity in our North School Rankings 2025.

Ensuring Process Transparency

Here’s how we go about the process:
  • The first step is hearing from the schools themselves. We ask them to send their details via email, snail mail, or online forms. This helps build the base data for Delhi schools ranking, Haryana best schools, Punjab school rankings, Uttar Pradesh school rankings, Uttarakhand top schools, Rajasthan best schools, Himachal schools, and Jammu & Kashmir best schools.
  • After intense scrutiny, our esteemed panel of jury members, experts in education, shortlists the schools under various categories. This includes recognizing schools for their academic reputation, curriculum, pedagogy, holistic development, sports, extracurricular activities, and blended learning in India.
  • Then, the parents are asked to vote via social media, an online poll, SMS and e‑mail. This year, we received more than 43,450 votes from parents across North India.
  • Once the voting is done, we compile our list of awardees under each category. Our team meticulously curates these categories according to students' learning needs. We also gather market reputation about the school, for instance, how the school is perceived in the community.
  • Our expert members also visit the schools to verify the details they provided in the survey application physically.
  • Since it is not always feasible to visit each school, our analysis team verifies the details through online sources and by calling the schools. We also contact education consultants in each school’s vicinity to ensure that the school deserves our ranking.
  • Once the best of the best schools are short‑listed, our jury convenes one last time to deliberate on all aspects of the process and to ensure that there have been no oversights or missteps.
The aspects we consider while ranking the schools are numerous and diverse. We aim to draw up a list that is truly holistic, well‑rounded, and, of course, tailored to the current situation of the education sector and the learning needs of the current generation. Our special jury also nominates schools that have not participated in the survey but hold an exceptional record in education. These schools fall under the Special Jury category.
