How Education Today School Rankings Work

Merit-based rankings for Indian schools — survey, jury review, and parental voting. Not paid placement.

Our three-step process

School outreach & survey

The first step is hearing from schools themselves — details submitted by email, post, or online nomination forms so every institution can be considered.

Jury scrutiny

After survey team scrutiny, our jury of education experts shortlists schools under carefully defined categories — with no outside bias.

Parental voting

Parents of students vote via social media, online polls, SMS, and email. Public participation validates trust and transparency in the final lists.

Compilation

Once voting closes, we compile awardees under each category. Lists are curated by our team to reflect curriculum, region, and school type.

Final analysis & publication

Schools are assessed and scored within each category. The highest-ranking institutions are published in our merit lists on Education Today.
