NEET PG Counselling 2025 Revised Schedule Released: Round 1 Seat Allotment on Nov 20

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the revised schedule for NEET PG 2025 counselling, covering 50% All India Quota seats, as well as 100% seats in deemed and central universities. Candidates who have qualified in NEET PG 2025 and are listed in the merit list are eligible to participate in the counselling process, which will be conducted entirely online through the official portal mcc.nic.in.

The choice filling for Round 1 will begin on November 17, 2025, and the window will remain open till November 18, 11:55 pm. Candidates can lock their choices on November 18, from 4 pm to 11:55 pm. The Round 1 seat allotment result is scheduled to be announced on November 20, 2025, with reporting and joining to be completed between November 21 and 27, 2025.

MCC has also published revised schedules for Rounds 2 and 3, as well as the Online Stray Vacancy Round, ensuring a structured timeline for candidates who do not secure seats in earlier rounds.

Why the Revision?

The counselling process was delayed earlier due to pending approvals of the seat matrix and clarifications from the National Medical Commission (NMC). With the updated schedule now in place, candidates can proceed with counselling in a structured manner, ensuring that each step is completed within the stipulated timelines.

Candidates are advised to:

1. Complete registration and payment within the deadlines.
    
2. Fill and lock choices carefully for preferred colleges and courses.
    
3. Keep track of seat allotment results and report to allotted institutions on time.
