i How to read this table

Each row is one school in one ranking category (see the Ranking Category column).

About the category

• Rankings & ratings — The school is placed in a published ranking or rating category (for example, India’s Top 20 CBSE Schools).
• Parameter — The school is ranked on one parameter (for example, Academic Reputation, Infrastructure, or Sports). The category name shows which parameter was used.

About the rank numbers

Ranks show position in that same category only. 1 always means first place (best position); 2 means second, 3 means third, and so on.

• City rank — Position among schools in the same city for that ranking category.
• State rank — Position among schools in the same state for that category.
• India rank — Position among schools across India for that category.
• If you see City 1, State 1, India 4, the school is first in its city, first in its state, and fourth nationally — all for the same category in that row.
